On Vacation

Hey, I'm on vacation, thus the reason for no new posts as of late, and I left the cord that I plug into the computer to get the pictures off the camera in San Antonio. There is probably some other way to do it but that would require knowing anything about computers, which I don't. Ya'll will just have to wait for pictures till I get back in August.

OOPS

We went to the pool with a bunch of girls in my ward last week. It was overcast and we really weren't at the pool that long so I didn't put suncreen on Jaike. OOPS, that was a big mistake!!! Poor kid, everytime I would lay him down to change his diaper he would arch his back and say "owee,back." When I would pick him up to hold him I couldn't touch his back at all. The sunburn is gone now but SHEESH, you think I would know better.

FREAKIN' OUT

So my friend Jenn sent me an email today. Her sister has a daughter named Grace too and on her playlist she has a song called Gracie. The song is by a group named Ben Folds. I had never heard of them so I went to playlist.com to check out the song. You are never going to believe this but, they also have a song called Emaline! WHAT THE HECK!!! It's not spelled the same at my Emiline but what are the chances of that? I put both songs on my playlist so that you can check it out if you don't believe me. Freaky, huh?

Boating

We intived ourselves out on one of our friends' boats last week, and we had such a great time. We spent the day tubing, wake boarding and cooling off in the water. Grace even tried the wakeboard and got up on her first attempt. She didn't stay up much longer than 10 seconds but she just kept trying. Thanks Todd & Cassie for letting us come!

3. LAUNDRY PILE - I usually have a pile about that big on my bedroom floor, I swear it's never done.




4. FRIDGE - Usually a mess, it's on the bottom of my list of things to clean.


5. KITCHEN SINK - I hate stainless steel, it always looks dirty.


6. CLOSET - mulit-purpose room really, used for clothes, crafts, pictures, sewing stuff, ect..


7. TOILET - not always this clean, today is your lucky day!



8. FAVORITE SHOES - cause they look good with almost anything and they make me really tall!




9. FAVORITE ROOM - because it's usually clean.




10. DREAM VACATION - I don't really know where I would go. Maybe Switzerland or Ireland. I think it would be fun to take my kids if they were older. I don't really know how to get a picture of that and post it.

Coolin' off ~ Texas style

Mike was busy working in the yard the other day and asked the kids to clean out the wheelbarrow when he was done. Before we knew it, they were in their swimming suits cooling off ~ TEXAS STYLE!!!

Bathtime

Sometimes when Indy needs a bath Tyler and Jaike just get in there with him. I think that's a little gross but Mike says he used to do it with his dog when he was a kid. Maybe boys just don't care about germs and dog hair floating around in the bath tub with them but - yuck! Boys are weird!
