Could it be?

I often wonder if anything I am saying to my kids actually registers. Don't you do that too? Today Grace got home from school, cleaned the windows, swept the patio, picked up dog poop, and watered the garden. I didn't ask her to do any of these things. Could what I have been saying and trying to teach all of these years actually be sinking in? Oh please, please, please!!!

Nice! I know just how you feel. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who can hear me. It's nice when those moments happen.

Where is Mike's man post?! Didn't want to see head guts any longer huh?! I thought it was hilarious. I still don't know how doctors do it.

What a cute post. Gracie is such a beauty. I'm sure you hear that all the time. What a good girl too. This gives me hope. Sometimes I just feel like a broken record. Nice garden.

It's a beautiful thing - something being done without have to ask first, and ask again, then order and threaten, etc.

No, you just got lucky that day. She was bored I'm sure. You'll have to ask again tomarrow. Believe me, it's happened to me before. They trick us. Make us believe we have taught them something good and useful, but low and behold they fool us again. At least you know that she knows how to do these things, so that when she says she can't, you know she CAN.
