Since moving from Oregon we sure have missed visiting the beach. While my parents were here we went to Mustang Island which is about 2 hours south of San Antonio. We went on New Years day and the forcast was windy and tempuratures in the 60's. This was a turn off for a lot of Texans but all of my west coast "peeps" could only hope for this kind of weather at the coast. We all had a really great time.

Mustang Island

How fun. That was one of the big downers about living in Utah. No beach. Every other state I have lived in has been coastal. Love it.
